As Kitchen Manager, Chief Cox was Promoted to Sergeant. Since then, Captain Cox has risen through the ranks at KCSO: being Promoted to Corporal 08/2012 while working as Disciplinary/Grievance Chairperson and Corrections Training Instructor in Training. Chief Cox Graduated the Knox County Sheriff’s Officer Regional Training Academy in 2003. Utilizing this experience allowed Chief Cox a great transition into her career with KCSO. Having served in her high school battalion and raising in rank to Battalion Commander, insured her familiarity with operational planning and decisions.
